FURNITURE / PRODUCT DESIGN INTERNSHIP

 

We are currently busy with a multitude of exciting international projects which include bespoke furniture design in addition to the furniture and objects we develop as part of the DSA collection.

 

We are therefore looking for a talented furniture / product design intern, who shows initiative, has a strong aesthetic sense and is passionate about architecture and design to join our team in our Copenhagen studio to work on both, the project specific bespoke furniture, but also on the DSA furniture collection.

 

As part of the DSA team, you’ll get the chance to work closely together with our creative team, be part of the product / project development process, follow your design from concept to prototype or production, and be part of exhilarating  international projects.

 

You should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design / Furniture Design
• Understanding of the process of product development from an idea to production
• Ability to work independently, are a self-starter and willing to take responsibility
• Proficiency in 3D modelling using SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, SolidWorks or other relevant software
• Proficiency in 2D drawing with AutoCAD, Rhino or other relevant software
• Proficiency in visualisation preferably using 3dsMax
• Proficiency in Adobe Suit – Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills
• English and/or Danish language skills
