SENIOR ARCHITECT

 

DSA is engaged in a series of exciting international projects, ranging from restoration and renovation to new builds, with work spanning Scandinavia, New York, Zurich, Paris, and London.

 

We are seeking a Senior Architect with a distinguished portfolio in private residences, retail, and hospitality to join our team in Copenhagen. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of experience, including at least three years as a Senior Design Architect. We are looking for someone with a holistic approach to design and project management, exceptional technical expertise, a strong understanding of materials, and a refined aesthetic sensibility aligned with DSA’s vision.

 

Tasks and role requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • Expertise in private residences, retail, and hospitality projects
  • Strong ability to work both conceptually and with precise 1:1 detailing in small- and medium-scale projects
  • Hands-on experience in technical drawings and detailed design, specifically within architectural and/or interior design projects
  • In-depth knowledge of materials and a refined aesthetic sensibility
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with suppliers and consultants
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, 3D modeling, and visualization is essential
  • Strong visual and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English and/or Danish
  • Interest or experience in furniture and product design is a plus

FURNITURE / PRODUCT DESIGN INTERNSHIP

 

Autumn / Winter Semester 2025

 

In addition to multiple exciting international projects that contain bespoke furniture design, we are also busy with developing DSA furniture collection and designing pieces in collaboration with international interior brands.

 

We are therefore looking for a talented furniture / product design intern, who shows initiative, has a strong aesthetic sense and is passionate about architecture and design to join our team in our Copenhagen studio to work on both, the project specific bespoke furniture, but also on the DSA furniture collection.

 

As part of the DSA team, you’ll get the chance to work closely together with our creative team, be part of the product / project development process, follow your design from concept to prototype or production, and be part of exhilarating international projects.

 

You should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Product Design or Furniture Design, or current enrollment in a related program
  • Understanding of the process of product development from an idea to production
  • Ability to work independently, are a self-starter and willing to take responsibility
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling using SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, SolidWorks or other relevant software
  • Proficiency in 2D drawing with AutoCAD, Rhino or other relevant software
  • Proficiency in visualization preferably using 3dsMax
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suit – Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Excellent visual and verbal communication skills
  • English and/or Danish language skills

We are looking for a talented intern that shows initiative, has a strong aesthetic sense and is passionate about architecture and furniture design. As part of the DSA team, you’ll get the chance to be engaged in projects in all phases, work closely together with our creative team, take responsibility, and grow as an architect and a designer.

 

You should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • Good understanding of project development, phases and methodologies
  • Ability to work independently, are a self-starter and willing to take responsibility
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suit, Sketchup and 3D modelling is a must
  • Great visual and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent English and / or Danish language skills
  • Interest and / or experience in furniture and product design is a plus
  • Ability to work with details and small / medium scale projects
  • Understanding of Danielle Siggerud Architects portfolio and design intent
